Today, I put the final finishing touches on my mural. I'm going to turn it in tomorrow morning and will hopefully get a good grade!

I let the mural dry overnight and started working on the little details. I painted the water, background, some shadows, drops, etc. Tomorrow i'll probably be adding the last finishing touches, so I can turn it possibly on Thursday. I'm still debating on whether or not to add a few words or a phrase that goes with my mural.

Monday, March 13th, 2017

I started officially painting my mural today. I painted the main big outlines of shapes such as the hourglass, iceberg and bridge. I'm adding new things on the mural each day up until I'm done. My goal is to finish it early, so I can turn it in early.

Today, I started out by sanding my piece of wood with some sandpaper to make it smooth and splinter-less. I also primed it and let it dry overnight.

Earlier today, I went and got the supplies to create my mural. Before I went out, I looked around my house and found a medium sized piece of wood in my backyard and some primer which was convenient. At Joann's, I bought an assortment of acrylic paints and set of paint brushes.
