For my second semester Ecology Learning Service Project I decided to paint a mural that could be placed somewhere on our campus. My mural was a painting of an hourglass. On the top were icebergs and the Golden Gate Bridge on the bottom. The icebergs were shown melting and shrinking and the water is falling down through the hourglass around and onto the bridge showing rising water levels. Some symbols I used were the hourglass for time and the water/icebergs for current global warming effects. The overall message the mural sends is, global warming is a major problem that's running out of time and if it isn't stopped, it can harm major cities around the world in the future.
